My Story

Education Chic was founded by Liliana Suero on 2016. As a former educator, and product development leader she felt there was a huge need to be filled in the product development area, especially with minorities and females been placed in leading positions. Education Chic was born to empower them and to foster leadership skills while being part of the legion of educators and product developers that are making a difference in our society.

A Passion for Learning and Teaching

Born and raised in the Dominican Republic, Education Chic developed a deep passion for education early on. After moving to the U.S. at 17, she mastered her second language while earning a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science. This foundation fueled her 21-year career as a bilingual educator, where she impacted countless young learners in the Dallas Independent School District (DISD), as well as new teachers, and school administrators.

Advancing Her Career
Education Chic’s career expanded beyond the classroom as she became an instructional coach and area coordinator, training teachers and principals in research-based bilingual practices. She also earned a master’s degree in computer education and Cognitive Systems, which led her to a leadership role at Istation, a Texas-based Tech Ed company. There, she directed the development of innovative digital content for bilingual education. She spearheaded a full team of Product development professionals to create, innovate and elevate their craft. In the last 3 years she has been involved in SEL (Social Emotional Learning) product development addressing the high demands of mental health tools and strategies that are currently needed.

Her Passion and Experience

Throughout her career, Education Chic has been dedicated to empowering educators through workshops, conferences, and leader training programs. She has guided teachers, and product development leaders from diverse backgrounds, helping them adapt to the U.S. education system and excel in their roles. Her work continues to inspire and elevate those she meets.
